Watch The GAAP

Connecticut’s governor-elect, Dannel Malloy, is planning a push for the state to move to a thrilling practice known as “generally accepted accounting methods” (GAAP.) Which is a very grown up way of saying that important things that require being counted, like state budgets, will be calculated using regular math. Gulp.

    If any of us tried to use their accounting methods, unless we are REP Rangel, we would be in jail…
    Wait the journal rag uses that type of accounting for circulation and staff retentaion…
